MilTribe and Blue Star Families Join Forces to Support Military Family Resiliency
SAN ANTONIO — MilTribe, the leading online resource for connecting and strengthening military families on the move, has partnered with Blue Star Families to launch three digital communities designed to help empower military spouses as they interact, encourage and honor their military family and lifestyle.
These three military communities — San Antonio; San Diego and Jacksonville, Florida — are the first of dozens around military bases Blue Star Families is helping to populate with information on vital community services, exclusive military discounts and resources.
“There is no greater organization we could partner with than Blue Star Families,” MilTribe CEO Tim Kaufeldt said. “Their knowledge is vital for providing valuable information to help PCSing families, transitioning Veterans and Retiree service members integrate more quickly into their new civilian-military communities.”
Blue Star Families is the definitive source of information for more than 1.5 million military families around the world. The organization, which has more than 30 unique chapters and communities across the country, works daily to strengthen military families. Blue Star Families strives to better understand and provide solutions to the challenges facing today’s military families through career development, caregiving and its leading research on military family life.
“This is a meaningful partnership between two organizations whose mission it is to address the challenges of military life,” said Kathy Roth-Douquet, CEO of Blue Star Families. “We are excited to partner with MilTribe to support even more military families across the country.”
MilTribe announced the partnership with a series of events in San Diego starting with the Camp Pendleton HMLA-369 Beach Bash and culminating with Sunday’s Military Appreciation Game between the San Diego Padres and the San Francisco Giants.
“We thought San Diego would be a good place to introduce ourselves as this is one of the vibrant communities of military families we serve,” Kaufeldt said.
MilTribe is a free digital community exclusively for military families. All members are verified through ID.me which is used by the Department of Veteran Affairs to verify the identity of veterans so they can access their benefits online.
